The Soltice Wall Sconce brings the alabaster wall vocabulary into a compact cuboid silhouette — a compact alabaster cuboid mounted on an aged-brass brass framework, the silhouette projecting outward from the wall as sculptural cuboid form rather than vertical column or horizontal bar. The cuboid alabaster geometry is the design's defining gesture; the compact proportion keeps the visual weight focused.
The cuboid alabaster arrangement does specific work that columnar or barred alabaster sconces cannot. Where the Bianca columns and Eamesline emphasize vertical alabaster proportion and the Gatsby bars emphasize horizontal alabaster proportion, the Soltice emphasizes cuboid alabaster sculpture — the stone reading as deliberate sculptural object rather than architectural line.
