The Driftline Smoky 47 Inch Sputnik Linear Chandelier takes the mid-century sputnik vocabulary into a horizontal silhouette — nine smoky-toned textured glass globes mounted at the ends of radiating aged-brass arms, the arrangement stretching nearly five feet across the room beneath. Where traditional sputnik chandeliers fire outward in all directions from a central point, the Driftline linear arrangement organizes the radiating geometry along a horizontal axis.
The smoky textured glass is the differentiator. The colored finish on the globes warms and softens the light passing through them — what would otherwise be exposed clear-glass point sources becomes ambient amber-toned warmth. The aged brass arms read as architecture rather than ornament, holding the glass globes at precise angles without competing with them.
